Free to start. Pay only if you want more.
Every learner gets a free AI allowance each month for quizzes, the tutor, study guides and homework help — on its own, enough for about 40 new quizzes — and it starts again at the beginning of each month. Read-aloud with the included voice is free as well, and counted separately, per day: about 20 to 40 minutes a day, depending on age. If your family wants more, you can buy an optional credit pack or Studio Pack. Each one is a one-off purchase, never a subscription.
Free for every learner
Every learner gets a free AI allowance each month — enough for about 40 new quizzes — and no card is needed. It covers:
- AI help with words: quizzes written for you, the tutor, study guides, homework help and stories.
- Drawn diagrams and pictures for quiz questions.
When it is used up, you can keep using anything already made for you, and new AI requests wait until it starts again at the beginning of each month (or a parent can add an optional credit pack).
Free read-aloud each day
Read-aloud with the included voice, so any page or answer can be listened to, is not part of the monthly allowance: it has its own free minutes, counted per day.
- Under 13
- about 20 minutes a day
- Ages 13–15
- about 30 minutes a day
- 16 and over
- about 40 minutes a day
- Guests, without an account
- about 2 minutes a day
AI features for learners under 16 need a parent's consent first.
Credit packs
You may never need one. Every learner already gets a free AI allowance each month for quizzes, the tutor, study guides and homework help — on its own, enough for about 40 new quizzes — and a credit is only ever spent once that allowance has run out. It starts again at the beginning of each month. Read-aloud with the included voice is not part of it: it has its own free minutes, counted per day. A pack is headroom for the busy weeks, not a subscription, and buying happens in the app after you sign in.
Re-opening something the app has already made costs 1 credit rather than the 5 a new quiz costs — 5 times cheaper — so going back over work a learner has already done is the cheapest thing here, and a large part of why a pack lasts.
A "busy day" below is the hardest kind of day: the free allowance runs out and the learner keeps going, spending about 37 credits on top — roughly seven more quizzes, or the same again mixed across tutor help and study guides. A day inside the free allowance never reaches a pack at all, so these figures are a floor, not an estimate of your child.
| Pack | Price | Credits | About how many quizzes | Busy days it covers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | A$6.99 | 750 | about 150 quizzes | at least 18 days |
| Medium Most popular | A$14.99 | 1,800 | about 360 quizzes | at least 45 days |
| Large | A$29.99 | 4,000 | about 800 quizzes | at least 100 days |
| Year pack | A$59.99 | 8,100 | about 1620 quizzes | at least 200 days |
Who can buy
A parent, or a learner aged 16 or over for themselves. Learners under 16 never pay; they can ask a parent, who decides.
Studio Pack
An optional extra for Studio Voice, a more natural voice for read-aloud, podcasts and lessons in any language the app supports, and Studio Pictures, an illustrated scene for history, geography, English and other humanities questions (maths and science keep their free drawn diagrams). Nothing in the app needs it, and its Studio credits are a separate balance from credits.
The included read-aloud voice and the free drawn pictures stay included for everyone.
1 Studio credit = 1 Studio Picture or 1½ minutes of Studio Voice
| Pack | Price | Studio credits | What it buys |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio Small | A$6.99 | 45 | = 67 minutes of Studio Voice or 45 Studio Pictures, any mix |
| Studio Medium | A$14.99 | 115 | = 172 minutes of Studio Voice or 115 Studio Pictures, any mix |
| Studio Large | A$29.99 | 245 | = 367 minutes of Studio Voice or 245 Studio Pictures, any mix |
Who can use it
Studio Voice: never under 13, and ages 13–15 only when a parent switches it on. Studio Pictures: any age; under 16 only when a parent switches them on, and under 13 also only with a parent's consent to AI quiz pictures. A Studio Pack is bought by a parent, or by a learner aged 16 or over.
Refunds and expiry
Unused paid credits can be refunded at any time, in-app, under our Terms. Read the refund policy.
Credits do not expire, and neither do Studio credits, so there is no rush to use them.
Questions people ask
Is Qwizflow free?
Yes, Qwizflow is free to start. Every learner gets a monthly allowance of AI use at no cost: quizzes, the tutor and study guides. When it is used up, you can keep using anything already made for you, and new AI requests wait until the allowance starts again at the beginning of the next month (or a parent can add an optional credit pack). Read-aloud with the included voice is free too, and counted separately, per day: about 20 minutes a day under 13, 30 at 13–15 and 40 at 16 and over.
Do I need to buy anything?
No. Nothing in Qwizflow needs a purchase. Credit packs are optional, for families who want more AI help than the free allowance gives.
What does a credit pack buy?
Credits pay for AI use beyond the free allowance, such as more quizzes and study material. A quiz uses 5 credits, so the Medium pack (1800 credits, A$14.99) is about 360 quizzes.
How long does a credit pack last?
That depends on how much a learner uses, so here is the arithmetic rather than a promise. The free monthly allowance already covers about 40 new quizzes, and it starts again at the beginning of each month; a credit is only spent once that allowance has run out. Counting busy days — a day the free allowance runs out and the learner keeps going, spending about 37 credits on top — the Medium pack covers at least 45. That is a floor on the hardest kind of day, not a guess about your child: a day inside the free allowance never reaches a pack at all.
Does opening something again cost the same?
No — it is much cheaper. Anything the app has already made is kept, and re-opening it costs 1 credit against a new quiz's 5, so it is 5 times cheaper to revisit work than to generate it again. Revising from what a learner has already built is the cheapest thing in the app, and it is a large part of why a pack lasts as long as it does.
What is the Studio Pack?
An optional, one-off pack for Studio Voice and Studio Pictures. Studio Voice is a more natural voice for read-aloud, podcasts and lessons, in any language the app supports. Studio Pictures are an illustrated scene for history, geography, English and other humanities questions (maths and science keep their free drawn diagrams). Studio credits are a separate balance from credits. 1 Studio credit = 1 Studio Picture or 1½ minutes of Studio Voice, in any mix. The included voice and the free drawn pictures stay included for everyone.
Can my child buy credits?
A learner aged 16 or over can buy credits for themselves. A child under 16 never pays: they can ask a parent, who decides. Studio Voice: never under 13, and ages 13–15 only when a parent switches it on. Studio Pictures: any age; under 16 only when a parent switches them on, and under 13 also only with a parent's consent to AI quiz pictures.
Is there a subscription?
No. Every pack is a one-off purchase in Australian dollars, and buying one signs you up for nothing ongoing.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits do not expire, and neither do Studio credits.
Can I get a refund?
Unused paid credits can be refunded at any time, in-app, under our Terms. Studio credits are refunded from the Studio balance.
