Personalised Education That Actually Listens
No two students learn at the same pace. That's why we built the Adaptive Learning Engine. Every time you submit a quiz, our system scores you across five dimensions — accuracy (50%), calibration (20%), concept mastery (15%), effort quality (10%), and retention (5%) — and produces a single mastery score between 0 and 1.
A Three-Way Decision (Not a Hard 80% Gate)
On the Standard setting, score 0.75 or above and the topic is mastered — earn a trophy, move on. Score 0.5 to 0.74 and you enter remediation: a targeted study guide, then up to two retry attempts. Score below 0.5 and we identify the misconception, generate a personalised lesson, and run a 3-question retest to unblock you.
Choose Your Threshold
Pick Explorer (relaxed, 0.65), Standard (0.75), or Challenger (strict, 0.85) in your Mastery Settings. Your choice sets the score a topic needs to pass.
Explain Answer: Why a Wrong Answer Was Wrong
After a wrong quiz answer, tap Explain this answer. The AI walks through, step by step, why the correct answer is right and why yours was not, adds a tip for avoiding the same mistake, and leaves you with a follow-up question to think about. You can also open Explain Answer from your hub and type in any question, its correct answer and the answer you gave.
FAQ
How does the Qwizflow Adaptive Learning Engine score mastery?
Every quiz submission is scored across five weighted dimensions — accuracy (50%), calibration (20%), concept mastery (15%), effort quality (10%) and retention (5%) — producing a single mastery score between 0 and 1.
What happens if a student scores below the mastery threshold?
A score of 0.5 to 0.74 triggers remediation — a targeted study guide plus up to two retry attempts. Below 0.5, the engine identifies the misconception, generates a personalised lesson, and runs a 3-question retest to unblock the topic.
Can students choose how strict the mastery threshold is?
Yes — pick Explorer (relaxed, 0.65), Standard (0.75) or Challenger (strict, 0.85) in Mastery Settings. Your choice sets the score a topic needs to pass.
Is there a hard 80% pass gate in Qwizflow?
No — mastery is a three-way decision, not a hard gate: 0.75 or above passes, 0.5 to 0.74 goes to remediation with retries, and below 0.5 leads to a personalised misconception lesson.
